I have a number of work interests and projects:
The day job is IS Manager but I'm also trying to develop a number of other projects.

NSPi

NSPi is a small software company.  We have produced the Top of the Class report creation software for schools and have a number of other projects in the pipeline.  These have been held up due to contracts for bespoke software.

NakedChassis

There are two main threads to NakedChassis:
  (1) Multimedia CD-ROM design and development.  Most of our work is  for the specialist motor industry but we have also done work for people from  other fields.  We do web design (don't worry, I don't do it - we have specialists for the web work), multimedia brochures, manuals, publicity, corporate CD-ROMs etc
  (2) We are in the process of developing the definitive on-line magazine  for all motor enthusiasts.  This is a major project intended to provide  the motor enthusiast with a portal to resources all over the world. At the moment there is a transition site up while we develop the main site

K-Now International

is a Knowledge Management consultancy which furthers my research interests in KM.  We are three consultants:
(1) I am a Community of Practice and Contextual Design specialist
(2) Jose specialises in the development of web based Artificial Intelligence KM solutions.  He is based in Portugal.
(3) Victor specialises in innovative teamwork systems.  He is based in California.
At the moment I am busy working on a couple of books for publication in 2003

SecuriQuest

I find this project exciting, too.  We are distributors for the protector  card, an innovative piece of computer hardware which, in case of a crash,  restores the system to a stable state at the push of a button.  This  piece of kit will drastically reduce IT Support overhead and toubleshooting.   I was very sceptical when I read what it could do - then I bought one to test.  I installed it on a dual boot machine and then deleted files, messed up the registry, and totally deleted one of the two operating systems. Each time, the system came up flawlessly on re-boot.  What really clinched it was when I booted from floppy,  formatted the hard drive, went into fdisk and deleted all the partitions.  Again, when I re-booted, the system came straight back up again.  Impressive or what !!
