Simply brilliant – brilliantly simple. I don’t know who said this, but they could well have been talking about this gadget.

Invented and manufactured in the US out of UV resistant glass-filled polycarbonate it has applications in many markets. It is a two piece device which grips a tarpaulin (or any similar flexible sheet material) wherever you place it. This means that you never have to replace damaged eyelets which are the weak point of the tarpaulin. You can make the tarpaulin tight as you can fasten it exactly where you need to fasten it and not just where the eyelets are.

The tarpaulin gripper has won many awards including gold at an inventors’ fair and is in use in many fields – truck covers, boat covers, tents, banners, signs, awnings, drop cloths.

Users have even come up with any number of innovative uses:
Clipped to a toddler’s trouser waistband it prevents the child from running off
Clipped on either side of a duvet and run under the bed it prevents the duvet from slipping off the bed
Shower curtains
- the limit is the imagination.

We haven’t had this product long and we are already finding it attracting immense interest.
